2007
RULE CHANGES:

CHANGE
IN ENGINE CAPACITY: reduced to 800cc
FIM:
“As from January 1st, 2007, in the Motogp class the maximum
engine size capacity will be 800cc and 2-stroke engines will not
be allowed.”

CHANGE
IN FUEL CAPACITY:
The
maximum fuel capacity will be reduced from 22 liters to 21 litres.
- OTHER
CHANGES:
Ride
thru penalty: FIM: “During the race, the rider will be requested
to ride through the pit lane; stopping is not permitted. He may
then rejoin the race.”
DELETED: “all events in the Championship must cater for all
three classes.”
2005
RULE CHANGES:

CHANGE
TO QUALIFYING: only
1 qualifying session on Sat afternoon allowed in 2005

WEATHER
RULE: riders will not be allowed to stop when it rains;
unless White Flagged - then riders can stop and change tyres or
bike
-
FUEL
TANK CAPACITY REDUCED:
from 24 litres to 22 litres
