GIBERNAU JOINS DUCATI FOR 2006: "After
achieving some great results and much satisfaction during the
last few years, and after a season at the highest level but with
some difficulties, I decided to make a change in my career. First
of all I want to thank the people who helped me achieve so many
good results. But now it's time to find some new motivation. The
professionalism and enthusiasm I've found at Ducati are what made
me decide to join forces with the factory. I face this new challenge
with real determination, convinced that together we can achieve
great success. In recent years Ducati has shown that it has big
ambitions and huge potential. I trust that, with my experience,
I can make a real contribution to turn our shared dreams into
reality."

PEDROSA JOINS FACTORY REPSOL HONDA: 2 times world 250 champion

ride for Suzuki in MotoGP. He replaces former world champion Kenny
Roberts Jr. Vermeulen's team-mate will be American John Hopkins.
"I'm so excited about the prospects for next year ... It's
going to be a difficult season to begin with. There are a lot of
new tracks to learn, a new bike and a new team, but I'm up for the
challenge ... I am very happy to be part of those plans and I'll
be doing everything I can to make sure Suzuki's faith in me is repaid"
- CASEY

Roberts Jr. loses his ride with Suzuki
"I could easily sit here and talk for hours about all the great
times I have had with Suzuki," he said. "They have always
been honest and have given me their best. I will of course miss
many people. Over the years I have made many friends here at Suzuki,
from the engineering level, to the management and of course within
the team ... I am eternally grateful for what Suzuki has done for
me. They have given me the chance to win a world championship and
I wish them the best. I know they can achieve whatever they wish
to do."
- Alex
Hofmann loses his ride with Kawasaki
"I've enjoyed my time at Kawasaki, especially working with
a great bunch of guys in the garage, although this season has not
