took over the lead from McRae in SS16. All 4 Ford cars driven by Colin McRae,
Carlos Sainz, Markko Martin and privateer Touhino had power steering fault.
- McRae and Martin both rolled
their cars in SS16; McRae lost 47 seconds and eventually finished 6th.
