PREVIEW

  • Leigh Diffey: So who will win this year's championship? It's the question that everyone is asking and nobody can answer with any conviction. It wasn't that long ago the gap between series leader Marcos Ambrose and second-placed Steven Richards was just over 100 points. How rapidly things change and that's a reflection on this year's championship; unpredictable and ever-changing.
  • The margin between new front man Russell Ingall and fifth-placed Todd Kelly is only 110 points and that makes for an incredibly tense weekend in Tasmania. The pressure is on! Ingall won the round at Symmons Plains a year ago. If he can repeat that it will take him a
step closer to his first-ever V8 Supercar crown. It is a must-win round for "The Enforcer".
  • It's always a welcoming, hospitable and enthusiastic crowd in Tassie and personally I can't wait for the racing to start. It's seems like Indy was too long ago already!
