NEW HOLDEN TEAM OWNERSHIP
With the collapse of TWR, Holden temporarily took over the ownership of Holden factory teams (HRT, Team Brock, K Mart Racing). As manufacturers can't be team owners under TEGA regulation, new ownership structure has been decided:

HRT - owned by Mark Skaife - see below
K Mart Racing - owned by John Kelly (father of Todd and Rick)
Team Brock - owned by Kees Weel

SKAIFE TAKES OVER HRT (JUNE, 2003):
5 times Australian Touring Car champion will follow in the footsteps of other champion owner drivers Dick Johnson and Larry Perkins. Skaife will become the sole owner of the the team he drives for - HRT (Holden Racing Team). He joined HRT in 1998 and went on to win 3 champions in a row (2000, 2001, 2002). He has a 5 year contract to drive for the team until end of 2006 season and a 10 year contract as team owner. The ownership change has been forced by the collapse of the team owner Tom Walkingshaw Racing UK (which also used to own the defunct Arrows Formula 1 team).
