Born in Germany, "ROB" moved his illustration and fine art business to British Columbia Canada. With diplomas in Illustration, Airbrush Art (Masters degree) and Desktop Publishing, he operated the "Robrecht Art Studio" for past 12 years in Germany.

With clients such as The Heyda Group, Big Shots Entertainment, Planet Hollywood, R-T Inc., VW International, Roeder PR, Chamonix Brazil, Volvo and Ferrari - his work can be seen on products all over the world.

Originals are owned by David Copperfield. A unique portrait of Arnold Schwarzenegger signed by ROB and the Hollywood star was auctioned for the European Aids Foundation.

ROB under his birth name of Olaf Robrecht was the assistant editor of a worldwide leading art magazine, published in 4 languages. He was responsible for cover layout and imaging of magazines such as "Drive Ford Cars" and "Easyriders Europe". In addition he belonged to a group of enthusiasts who organized the art exhibition of the biggest airbrush fair worldwide, the "International Airbrush Forum" for the past seven years. This exhibition attracts up to 15,000 people each year with artworks valued at more than 1 million USD on display.

In his freetime ROB lectures in art and design. His fine art pieces are sought by collectors all over the world.
