"I have a 2003 Kia Carnival. Whilst driving under load it makes an intermittent rough noise. The noise ceases when turning a corner, yet when in neutral and turn wheels it does not make the noise. I have eliminated the idler pulley, tension pulley, alternator bearings, power steering pump bearings and air con pump bearings. I have put a stethoscope on the engine whilst running, it sounds smooth. I cannot hear this noise while the car is in neutral.
I thought it could be cv joints but isn’t the noise you hear a clicking sound? Anyone with any other suggestions?"
