"I recently purchased a one owner Senator and drove her home from Perth to Bunbury with no issues, all smooth in fact. Until I put it in for a service some three days later for belt, dash light bulb, sway bar replacement - former owner said it needed, oil & filter changes and ordered new shocks.
My problem is that after the "service" my car's gearing sequence is shot. They've disconnected wiring from the sensor map and cleared all codes, it runs like I have gravel running through the engine, my left indicator light no longer works and my dash lights flash at me instead. It lacks considerably in the power department, and the service centre denies any accountability and want me to pay for them going back in to fix the problem!
What can I do here? I'm not mechanically minded but am no idiot either. Do I have a valid consumer complaint?"
