| I HAVE BEEN CONSISTENTLY PURCHASING DIESEL AT A SOUTH WESTERN SYDNEY INDEPENDENT SERVICE STATION |
"I have been consistently purchasing diesel at a South Western Sydney independent service station. In August my vehicle broke down and was towed to the dealer who informed me the problem was dirty fuel. The fuel taken from my vehicle was tested by Oil Check which revealed it contained Moisture levels of 0.635% W/W when the acceptable level is 0.01% W/W.
The necessary repairs totalled $8500 and the service station owner is not interested in any reimbursement as he claims that he sells 90000 litres of diesel a month and mine is the only complaint. I would like to hear from anybody else who has had fuel problems. "

Sorry to hear but the lesson here is only buy fuel from major companies. I had similar story with Mobil but I was a regular customer with record of all purchases. They met all repair costs although they would not officially admit liability. Still try some legal action against them or at least a threat of action and see how they respond.
