HOPE WE CAN HELP A FEW CARNIVAL OWNERS OUT THERE, AS WE HAVE SEEN A LOT OF THESE MOTORS

"Hope we can help a few Carnival owners out there, as we have seen a lot of these motors, and have heard reports of a shortage of places to fix them.

We run an engine reconditioning workshop in south west Victoria. Our shop has been rebuilding the V6 Carnival motors with a machining process that has put a stop to the leaking cylinder liner problems that plague the Carnival 2.5 V6 motor. Without going into details it involves block grooves and o ring seals on each cylinder to stop leakage. We have had good results from this process and our reconditioned motors will last much longer than just repairing your motor temporarily.

I’m not sure if we are able to put our name or contact details on this post, but if it is ok with this website I will post our contact details and company details in a follow up post.

Thank you S.F."

Hi, we're very interested, how much is the reconditioned engine from you? We have a 2002 Kia Carnival, same problems as all Kia Carnivals. Need to replace engine at just 100,000 kms - this car is actually already fitted with a reconditioned engine with the previous owner (they did it through Kia when it was still under factory warranty). Will your reconditioned engine last? for how many years? do we get warranty? email us back please.
