"FORD FALCON XR6 BF 2005: BF FALCON: GOOD NEWS, MUCH BETTER THAN BA - Bought a new BF Falcon in November 2005. A great car, much better than my previous BA Falcon.
The BA had several problems like many of them do, but I am happy to report that the BF has been faultless after over a year of driving. The BA had spend weeks in a Ford dealer workshop over the same time period at various times.
The BF is better on fuel (almost as good as a Camry if you get the 6 speed auto), and the overall quality seems to be a lot higher.
My advice: If you are considering getting a used BA Falcon, don't. Get a BF or BF MK2 instead."
