========== ORIGINAL POSTING ========== "CARAVANS BUYING CREATIVE 2006: CREATIVE CARAVANS LACK OF QUALITY - We bought a Creative caravan in December 2006, after 6 months we discovered the coating underneath the flooring was coming off. We rang Creative because the van was still under warranty. No problem they said we will replace your van. After 6 months of them blaming everyone else for the problem and trying to send us to the flooring company they decided to claim the problem on insurance.
Westfarmers sent an engineer to look at our van and he said there was a problem with the wheel arches not being sealed properly and the floor contained 90% moisture. Meaning the floor needed replacing. The insurance company offered to cut the middle of the floor out and replace it, leaving the wet mouldy floor under our cupboards and fridge. We weren’t happy with this type of repair and after nearly 12 months has gone by we still haven’t had our van fixed and nobody will return our calls.
I understand things can go wrong but it has been 18 months and we are stuck at home waiting for our van to be fixed not using it for the purpose we bought it (touring Australia)."
