| WOULD NEVER EVER CONSIDER BUYING ANYTHING FROM JAYCO AGAIN. A VERY UNSATISFACTORY EXPERIENCE. |
"Jayco Outback Eagle problems.
Internal carpentry very poor. Two seats broken with normal use (80kg person broke both seats!). Sizing of materials and methods of fixing atrocious.
Brake wiring connections via crimping terminals... unsatisfactory method for attaching electrical brake wiring harnesses.
Driver’s side shock absorber tore out of chassis and punctured floor and destroyed cabinet and kitchen drawer. This happened on a corrugated dirt road whilst travelling at less than 50kph for a distance of 20 kilometers. Robustness of chassis and shock absorbers absolutely atrocious. Remember this product is classed as an Outback vehicle suitable for dirt road use (and promoted as such).
Spare wheel holder failed (welds cracked). I know of two other Jayco's having this problem.
Overall workmanship very poor.
All of these items reported to Jayco Australia via West Australia dealer. No interest, or help in rectifying these issues (they did replace crimped terminals with screwed terminals when I said I would report Jayco wiring practices to West Australia Road Traffic Authority).
Would never ever consider buying anything from Jayco again. A very unsatisfactory experience."
