"Hi mate, you also got a real doozy, I bought a Jayco pop top currently going to the CTTT Tribunal for a full refund. You cannot believe what is wrong with the van, from the ground up, twisted chassis, A arm so misaligned that the Haymen Reece cannot be fitted, bend cross members, body twisted trapezoid according to the independent engineer, roof catches on one side will not align, body sags to one side at the front by 50mm. Front Alko supports broken welds (been used twice), welds have been done after galvanising and are rusting, and so it goes on. Walls falling off in shower recess, fixed by Jayco Queanbeyan (don't go near them) and coming away again.

Van has done just over 1,000 Klms did not pass a re-registration check and is considered dangerous, and get this Jayco took it to Melbourne to be examined by their 'experts' and they say it is suitably constructed and there is nothing wrong with it.

The self regulation of the caravan industry must be changed. They have a duty of care over and above others due to being self regulating and few of them care less about the quality or workmanship. We are going back to our tent when we get our money back, caravans are just not worth the money.

Hope yours all worked out but it looks like it might not be 'merchantable' or 'fit for the purpose intended' with so many faults. Check your local Fair Trading office they will assist you. Barry"
