I DID MINE SIX MONTHS AGO AND HAVE NOT HAD A PROBLEM SINCE
"Hi reading about the problems with your cars, I have had the same things happen to my SRI but they have been easily fixed. I removed the dash which is a single unit responsible for all connections in relation to the ignition, instruments and even the operation of the radio all run through a single plug. Clean the plug, both male and female ends and when you refit it make sure it locks in properly and your problems should be over and you will then be able to enjoy driving a great little car. I did mine six months ago and have not had a problem since."

I am having lots of electrical problems and thought I would take your advice.
