| I HAVE DONE 96000K IN MY CITY SINCE NEW AND STILL ON ORIGINAL PADS AND ROTORS |
| "I have done 96000k in my City since new and still on original pads and rotors. Had a look at them the other day and they look fine. I do use the gears to slow down and maybe that’s extending their life, I'm not sure. Apart from some front end issues this car has been faithful to me. It gets loaded to the hilt with camping gear and I mean loaded so there is room for me only and I still get average 680k to a tank of 95 octane. Never been happier with this car. I’m probably just lucky. I do feel for you guys with all these hassles with your Astras. Also I just fitted new Michelin XM1 plus tyres the other day after 96000k on the original Continentals that came with the car. I’m not ****, so far so good. I’ll keep you posted about my silver City."
