"Just to add to D. Cockman's posting. Don't feel you are alone. This has just happened to my Courier last week. Lost reverse and 5th doing some simple reversing in sand down at the beach. Ours has done about 220000kms.
Looking at the same costs.
Did you replace with a new or reconditioned one - where did you get the part from?
