| VERY RELIABLE VEHICLE. |
"After 250,000 it's still on the original engine. Coming up for its third timing belt (Replaced them at 90,000 and 170,000). On its second clutch - first one lasted over 200,000 so I'm not grumbling. Uses some oil now - I top it up every couple of weeks, but that's cheap enough. I've always had it serviced at manufacturer specified intervals (though not by them after the first six years).
Very reliable vehicle."

========== REPLY ========== I test drove one in the wind and rain, it blew all over the road.
Is it better when loaded up?
What fuel economy around town? POSTED BY: VICTOR - BONDI, NSW - AUS 25 MAY 2009
========== REPLY ========== I have a 1994 auto Starwagon same as express van but with the seats in the back. Fuel consumption varies depending on load and wind resistance. The extra seats in the back add about 120kg and being an auto uses more fuel than a manual. I usually get between 12 and 14 litre/100km. If the wind is strong it still blows about whether full or empty. If cargo space is your priority then it is a good van. POSTED BY: ASHLEY - PENRITH, NSW - AUS 9 JUN 2009 |
