NISSAN PATROL GULL 2000: LACK OF POWER

THE CHANGE IN THE VEHICLE'S PERFORMANCE HAD TO BE FELT TO BE BELIEVED.
"We have a Nissan 3.0L 2000 Patrol Wagon. We were having problems with pulling power from the day we bought it at 80k. After talking to a mechanic at a dealership in Adelaide and having another mechanic check it over as well as a visit to a Diesel pump place in Murray Bridge all of the people told me to check the Air Flow Meter. Purchased one immediately and had it installed. The change in the vehicle's performance had to be felt to be believed."

========== REPLY ========== I too had this power loss & also had the airflow sensor replaced @ $365. Note: I could have also avoided this expense as you can remove the sensor yourself & give it a good spray & clean out with electronic circuit board cleaner or similar item for under $20, a 10 minute fix.
