Very Affordable Destiny Delivers Great Value-For-Money

May 16 2007:

Jayco - Australia’s largest recreational vehicle (RV) manufacturer - continues to set industry standards across the entire range of its products.

Innovative designs, cutting-edge engineering technologies, high quality components and materials, and craftsman-like dedication to quality, are the things that set Jayco products apart from the competition, and ensure they retain their resale value.

The company’s newly released 2007 range of Destiny pop-top caravans is no exception, delivering great value-for-money and providing newcomers to caravanning with a very affordable entry point into the market.

As with all the company’s touring products, Jayco’s acclaimed “out-of-sight” engineering technologies - including its galvanized, extra-strength Millennium chassis, Tough-frame construction system, smooth ride leaf-spring suspension, and electric brake systems - are embedded in the 2007 range of Destiny Pop-Tops.

Smooth-skinned, fibreglass walls and moulded front and rear panels give the Destiny a stylish and strong exterior which is easy to maintain, and allows imaginative use of striping and decals. New exterior features of the 2007 model include a chrome rear bumper bar and external front and rear LED lights.

Lauren McKillop, the young and talented Melbourne-based designer and architect, has transformed the Destiny’s spacious interior by introducing a range of new lay-outs and creating a subtle décor featuring contemporary fabric colour combinations, new wood grain interiors, and new laminex, which add to the vehicle’s quality finish.

The 2007 model again features Euro-style furniture and quality European appliances including a Smev gas/electric stove, while a larger stainless steel sink (with cover) has also been included.

Destiny pop-tops range in length from 3.78 metres (12ft 5in) to 5.6 metres (17ft 11in) and can be towed by the average family sedan. The vehicle’s lower profile makes it very economical to tow.

Given its all-round quality, versatility, economy and price competitiveness, sales of the Destiny continue to grow strongly, and it is the preferred choice for many adventurous older Aussies “hitting the road”.

The 2007 model is also available as an Outback conversion for off-road travel. The Outback range gives the added strength and clearance needed when exploring in rugged terrain.
