2005 FXST Softail Standard
In
a world filled with flash and trash, it's good to know there's
a machine like the one you see here, the Softail® Standard.
Everything about it is pure and beautifully basic. It starts with
a silver powder-coated Twin Cam 88B. engine. Dual counterbalancers
make it feel as smooth as it looks. The Softail® Standard
features a raked FX fork, laced wheels, fat rear tire and a bobtail
fender for the styling traditionalist. A hidden rear suspension
shelters the backside from bumps while maintaining the clean hardtail
appearance. Many will find this bike everything they want. Still
others will put some sweat equity into it with Genuine Motor Accessories
and some wrenching. If you're one of them, the perfect steel canvas
awaits.

2005 VRSCB V-ROD
Better
keep your good eye on this rabble-rouser. It's the brand new VRSCB
V-Rod® motorcycle. One look is about all it takes to tell
you this machine inherits the VRSC knack for causing a commotion.
But this black sheep gets the stripped-down treatment for even
more raw, in-your-face VR attitude. It starts with the same hot
rod genetics. 115 hp Revolution® engine. Aluminum bodywork.
Hydro-formed perimeter frame. Raked fork. But from there, it sheds
the shine. With a black frame that surrounds the silver and black
powertrain. Of course, the dark theme goes further, with black
calipers and brake lines, black hand controls and rear shock springs.
The VRSCB model gets finished with a minimalist instrument cluster
on an adjustable handlebar. It's pure VRSC muscle, only more ornery
than ever.

2005 VRSCA V-ROD
Your
eyes are not playing tricks on you. What you're seeing here is
indeed 115 horses of a very different color. The muscle-and-metal-to-the-max
VRSCA V-Rod® gone tinted. For 2005, we took the aluminum bodywork
through the paint booth and came up with some standout shades,
including Lava Red Sunglo that's sure to stop a sidewalk full
of pedestrians dead in their tracks. From there, we went further.
The perimeter frame has a new silver-leaf powder-coat for sheen.
The overall effect carries on its crowd-drawing tradition. And
it enhances the long, low hot rod theme provided by the 49mm,
38° raked fork, 180mm rear tire, solid disc wheels and sweeping
exhaust. The strapping, 60° V-Twin Revolution® power plant
sends it all blistering into motion. Liquid-cooled and fuel-injected,
it displaces 1130cc and pumps out 115 horsepower. For those who
agree lots of power equals lots of good.

2005 FLHR Road King
Gleaming
here before you is the Road King®. A machine that inherits
its style from a day when pumps dinged, and uniformed attendants
rushed to your service. Note the strong lines. Meaty fenders.
Giant chrome headlight and nacelle. But this isn't a machine that'll
make you misty-eyed for the past. Look beyond the thick chrome
and there lies some advanced performance. Front and center, you'll
find a Twin Cam 88® engine, with carb or EFI. Isolation-mounted,
it's good for as many miles you want to tack on. You get a refined
chassis that makes the ride top-notch. New long-life rear tire.
And a windshield and passenger pillion that both detach. For a
custom look that's sure to get those attendants rushing your way
again.

2005 FLHRSI Road King Custom
Beneath
all that classic style and those heritage-rich details, there's
an outrageous spirit lurking deep in the heart of the Road King®.
And here it is, rearing its glorious chrome and sheet metal head.
The Road King Custom. This ride is brand new, but the style might
remind you of the custom bikes native to California beaches. The
kind that grab attention like a bull in a china shop. Note the
pullback beach bars, lowered rear suspension, clean leather bags
with hidden supports and slash-cut mufflers. It's got nickel-formed
and chrome-plated tank emblems, a chrome wind-swept visor and
bold, simple fenders over cast and chromed wheels. Even with all
that boulevard styling, the Custom is made to go far. Air-adjustable
rear suspension, refined chassis design and proven Twin Cam 88®
engine EFI. Check it out. It's Road King, in its most radical
form.

2005 FLHRCI Road King Classic
What
is it about chrome, leather, rich paint and whitewalls that get
the blood racing is not known. But since they do, we dialed them
up to the max. The Road King® Classic. Check out the style
of this touring rig. Full fenders. Laced wheels. Tank and fender
emblems. Tooled leather seat and bags. Removable windshield. Giant
headlamp. Despite the heritage, this ain't your father's motorcycle.
The Twin Cam 88® powertrain is modern Big Twin engineering
at its finest. It's a sophisticated, fuel-injected, heat-managed
marvel. The refined chassis makes the ride super smooth. There
are generous footboards. New rear tire built to tackle more miles.
Cruise. Nothing could feel better for a trip to the corner store,
particularly one in a far corner of the globe.

2005 FLHT Electra Glide Standard
The
rider who needs only a comfy seat, a place to store the odd belonging
and something to keep the wind off the chest will like what they
find here. The Electra Glide® Standard. It's everything you
need for a long motorcycle trip and really nothing more. It starts
with a tried-and-true Twin Cam 88® engine. Try it with carb
or EFI. The world is still raving about our chassis upgrade from
a couple years back. If you haven't felt how perfect the improvements
make the ride, you should. This year, we put a new, longer-life
tire on the rear. And redesigned the seat for looks and comfort.
The styling is clean, perfect for adding on, or not. Fork-mounted
batwing fairing. Lockable hard saddlebags. Roomy floorboards.
What else do you need?

A28. 2005 FLHTCUI Electra Glide Ultra Classic
Throw
a leg over an Ultra Classic® Electra Glide® touring bike
and it's like having one boot in the east, one in the west, and
you are ruler of all lands in between. We start with a comfort-stitched
saddle and passenger backrest, should you choose not to rule alone.
Hard bags and King Tour-Pak®. 40-watts-per-channel, 4-speaker
AM/FM/CD. Electronic passenger controls. Built-in C.B./voice-activated
intercom. Cruise control. A new tank badge. In other words, the
whole shebang. But even with all the goodies, this is still a
Harley-Davidson® motorcycle at heart. Thumb the starter and
the EFI Twin Cam 88® engine instantly declares its time-honored
rumble. This year, the fairing lowers get a new venting system
to keep the legs cool. So no matter where you are in the world,
even the wind is at your command.
